I’ve been painting for about 12 years now. Agnes Cecile was one of my first encounters with art that feels both abstract and emotional. When I started creating digital portraits, I was greatly inspired by her watercolor works. “Unsaid Things” (2013), “Miss Universe” (2013) and „Ritual Necessario“ are just some of them. I was overwhelmed by her style — the way she allows so much white space and combines softness with sharpness.

This piece is nothing but a tribute to her. Her work has defined and influenced this part of my life. I want to be grateful for what it has given me. We often forget how much something can influence us, but I want to stay aware of that and remind myself that my own development has a beginning. It was her ocean that opened this world to me. Thank you, Agnes.
